Venom
Eddie Brock is the original Venom and one of Spider-Man's arch-enemies.
Origin
Eddie Brock was a reporter for the Daily Globe before it came to light that he had fabricated a story revealing the identity of the Sin-Eater. Shortly after the story was published, Spider-Man caught the real Sin-Eater, disgracing Brock as a news reporter and costing him his job and then his wife. Now writing for cheap gossip magazines, Brock centered his frustration on utter loathing of Spider-Man, which only escalated when it is revealed that Brock had cancer. In response to this news, Brock began working out, bringing his body to levels of amazing athletic performance. Meanwhile, the Symbiote, having recovered and needing another human host in order to survive, found itself psychically attracted to Brock for both his increased adrenaline and mutual hatred for Spider-Man.
FusionFall
Venom does not yet appear in the main game, but only as a playable character in FusionFall: Heroes.
FusionFall Heroes
He's one of the Marvel Characters who assist with the CN Characters. As a playable character and an unlikely hero, he has received some upgrades:
- Varnage: Fuse with both Venom and Carnage Symbiote.
- Anti-Venom: An opposite of Venom with white symbiote
- Toxin: Heroic Son of Carnage, Orange symbiote
- Scorpion-Venom: Scorpion fuse with Venom Symbiote
- Spider-Venom: Fusing with Spider-Man and Venom
Trivia
- There are two Venoms in the game (the second Venom controlling Harry), so it might be confusing to tell which Venom is which.
