Sonic the Hedgehog is Sega's mascot and the eponymous protagonist of the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He is an anthropomorphic hedgehog born with the ability to run faster than the speed of sound, hence his name, and possesses lightning fast reflexes to match. As his species implies, Sonic can also roll up into a concussive ball, primarily to attack enemies.

Ever since stepping into the battle against iniquity, Sonic has been the champion of peace and is renowned all over the world for saving it countless times. During his many adventures, Sonic has traveled from the ends of the world to the far reaches of space and time, facing countless trials that have tested him to the fullest, earning him many titles, allies and the scorns of several foes. Well-known for his legendary cocky attitude, easy-going demeanor and somewhat short temper, yet strong sense of justice, compassion, and love for freedom and adventure, Sonic uses his abilities to protect the innocent from his world and those beyond from the forces of evil, especially his arch-nemesis, Dr. Eggman.

Pre-FusionFall

Not much is known about Sonic's early life. He was born on Christmas Island with his abnormal ability to run at super speed, but his love for adventure eventually called him away from his home. Since then, he has spent his life traveling the globe, driven by his restless spirit, in search of adventures to satisfy his thirst for thrills.

FusionFall

Sonic showed up in the Cartoon Network Universe shortly after Fuse attacked. It is unknown where he came from, but he states that he's looking for something. After stopping a Fusion Wilt attack, Sonic helped construct the wall around the Cul-de-Sac, and is currently there. As the player reaches level 20, he can be found at Kingdom Valley, looking for Amy's bird friend, Flicky.

Fastest Fusion

Sonic tells the hero that he's looking for something of his that Fuse stole. After a while, he'll tell the hero that he's looking for his newest pair of running shoes, and has followed a trail of Fusion Matter to Peach Creek Commons. Eddy will then contact the player, saying that he saw someone that looked like "that hedgehog" around the Peach Creek Estates and asking the hero to investigate. After the player has looked for a while, Eddy will contact the player again, telling the player to check the Infected Zone. Once inside, the player will find a mysterious looking Fusion Lair that belongs to Fusion Sonic. Sonic asks the player to defeat the copy so he won't be blamed for anything it might do. Once Fusion Sonic is defeated, the player will be rewarded with the Sonic Nano.
