Again, thanks for the welcome. I have been enjoying very much the oppotunity to indulge my grammar madness on some very interesting reading matter. I wonder, is there one unified FusionFall time-continuity, or is it "catch-as-catch-can"? For instance, I've been editing a page that located High-Five Ghost at a place called Champion's Paradise? Might another author put him at, say, Hero's Hollow? If so, would that have to be mentioned on his character page? And if I wanted to make, say, a "Steven Universe" page (I wouldn't, but if I wanted to), could I just plonk him down in, for example, Bikini Bottom? Or is there a method that one follows to determine what is Fanon?
Anyway, I am having a ball just adjusting subject-verb agreements, rehanging dangling participles, and specifiying the vague pronoun antecedents. For a grammar hound, it's heaven!
This wiki is pretty much a dead url. We admins don't really regulate the rules here as much as we do on the main wiki, so you're bound to come across a bunch of claptrap. The problems that you brought up with regards to the "free-for-all" editing was an issue that was suppose to have been ironed out long ago. However, no official rule was created; at the time we were dealing with a major "troll war", so yeah, there's that. This wiki's ruleset was suppose to mimic that of the Ben 10 Fan Fiction Wiki's own. At the time we were losing major contributions on the main wiki and a fanon counterpart seemed like a good facelift; not to mention, I was a bit of a 'noob' back then, so I acted on impulse very often. :/ What worked there, just didn't work out here. Lost in translation, if you will.
The FusionFall continuity is a complete mess and makes little-to no sense. If this place is your paradise, knock yourself out.
I'm sorry. Someone had made links to those pages, and I had assumed that they had meant to get around to filling them in, so, since the Big Billy and Snake pages had been started already, I went ahead and added the Lil' Arturo and Grubber pages, for which I was looking for suitable images before adding the character templates. Obviously I jumped the gun, and I apologize very profoundly. (I do want to make clear that I did not create many of the pages that I have marked as stubs, though I did think it was desirable to mark them so that somebody could get around to them.) I would have filled at least some of them in myself, if I hadn't suspected that some person had a particular purpose in mind for each character that I didn't want to preempt. As far as I am concerned, every single one of those pages can be deleted without any objection whatsoever on my part.
Again, let me express sincere apologies for having created any inconveniences.
I'm afraid I don't read a lot of fan fiction. I read the first Chapter of "Pike Aftershock," but it's not really in my purview to be writing critiques. I just want to make sure that the grammar that appears on the wiki here is correct.
Of course, if someone asks my opinion, I am willing to give whatever impression I have gathered from a cursory glance. However, there is so much to do here purely in terms of correcting mistakes of standard spelling and syntax that I simply haven't time to indulge in serious literary analysis. As far as that is concerned, my comments will necessarily be obiter dicta.
For Conner Caster medium, light,Caucasian, clean cut blonde hair hair, thin brow, blue eyes, dark red shirt, black paints, and red and black shoes. For Mark Valentine medium, light,Caucasian,Razor cut red hair,Indigo eyes,a shirt like bricks but indigo,Black paints, and Black and white shoes.Pen and Rebecca well be in the next post i need more time but Rebecca's page well be up soon.
It may take a little while. Yoy know how the holidays are, with family and everything. Besides, I don't want to just rush and do a lousy job. Of course, if you find you can't wait and want someone else to do them, or want to do them yourself, I won't be offended. I just think it would be better for you to used original pictures for your original characters, and not just stick other character's pictures there. That's all.
Thank you for your flattering confidence in my editing skills, but I am afraid that I have already undertaken more than I can manage. Moreover, I have to admit that I don't really have much interest in Naruto in particular nor in anime in general. Since I have no real understanding or appreciation of Naruto, I think it would be better for me to leave editing Naruto fan fictions to those who do.
