Kyogre is a Legendary Pokémon and part of the Weather Trio. It is pure Water type. Its ability, Drizzle, summons rain in battle when the Pokémon enters battle.
History[]
The whale-like Pokémon has been swimming the ocean depths for more than a million years. It was said to have created and widened the seas just by taking a swim. It is also good natured as it used its aquatic powers to save people from droughts. Kyogre once fell into a deep sleep after a battle with Groudon.
FusionFall[]
Kyogre was one of the Pokémon who guards Rayquaza's resting place along with Groudon and the Legendary Golems. The player can ride on the creature's back to any of the islands in the game.
In the FusionFall Adventure, "Primal Madness", Kyogre and Groudon are captured by Lord Fuse's minions. When the player fights off some Extremospawns led by Fusion Bubbles, it is revealed that the legendary Pokémon can undergo Primal Reversion despite being unable to evolve. The player meets Iris, who tells him that she suspects that Fuse intends to research on Primal Reversion and Mega Evolution. If Fusions can Mega Evolve, it can be disastrous. The Player heads to Atlantis to battle Ash's Fusion and Bubble's Fusion, freeing Kyogre and Groudon in the end. After the adventure, Iris muses on whether it can be possible for Nanos to Mega Evolve.
