BMO (pronounced Beemo) is Finn and Jake's living video game console, portable electrical outlet, music player, roommate, camera, alarm clock, toaster, flashlight, strobe light, skateboarder, friend, soccer player, video editor, and video player. It makes its appearance in the title scene of the theme song of every episode of Adventure Time, just before Finn and Jake pound their fists together. BMO is characterized as a loyal, trusting, and helpful friend who is protective of Finn.
BMO followed Finn and Jake to the mainland when Fuse attacked, and now serves as a shopkeeper for Adventure Time items. BMO will ask if the player wants to play any video games, but the player doesn't have enough time to. BMO also has taken a liking to Gunter. Dexter is trying to procure robots to make sure that hostile dimensions such as the Nether and Oblivion get pushed away from the Earth; hoping it will prevent the Wither and Daedric Princes from warring against other dimensions. BMO's employment in this task caused him to overheat and once nearly made him crash.
Be My Player 2?
If the player talks to Finn, he will mention that he can't play video games with Jake anymore. The Player Two controller to BMO has gone missing and Jake is suffering from video game withdraw. Talking to BMO will reveal that it saw Gunter take it away. Talking to Gunter will get the hero nowhere, since Gunter can't speak English, so the hero will be directed to the Ice King, who tells the player that Gunter is too sweet to steal anything. Ice King orders the hero to go defeat some fusion monsters outside to see if they stole it. None of the monsters did, which makes the Ice King confused.
Finn then interrupts to inform the player that he just saw Gunter run off into a strange-looking room, and that he had the controller. The player will discover that the strange room is really another Fusion Gunter's Lair, and that this Fusion Gunter stole the controller. BMO begs the hero to defeat the Fusion, and once this is accomplished, the player discovers a Fusion BMO in the same layer. Apparently, as concluded by Finn, the controller was used to create the Fusion BMO. After defeating this Fusion BMO, the player aquires a BMO nano.
- BMO's gender is unknown, but is referred to as either gender by various characters in the show.
- BMO's Nano is one of the few Nanos for which the player has to fight more than one Fusion.
